Cricut Explore 3
Best For: Beginners, Budget-Concious Crafters
One of the newer Cricut models, the Explore 3 is an excellent machine on which to begin your Cricut journey. Alternatively, if you currently own the Cricut Explore 2, it’s a sleek upgrade. Additional improvements (vs. the previous model, the Cricut Explore 2), include faster cutting speed, tk
Cricut Maker 3
My personal favorite of the Cricut cutting machines I’ve tried, the Cricut Explore 3 offers ample features, including everything the aforementioned Cricut Explore can do—plus the ability to cut more materials (like fabric, thick cardboard, and even thin acrylic). Furthermore, the machine cuts without a mat when you use the brand’s Smart Vinyl.
Cricut Joy Xtra
I have yet to try this upgrade on the original Cricut Joy—a mini Cricut best used for cardmaking and other ultra-small projects—but I’ve heard fantastic reviews. As an avid card-maker, I’m eyeing this efficient cutting machine. Plus, it’s small size makes it perfectly portable and travel-friendly.
Cricut Venture
The latest Cricut machine offers all the features of the Explore and Maker machines and then some. Moreover, it cuts massive sheets of material at a broader range of thicknesses. While the venture is undeniably sleek, it is rather massive at tk, making it less-than-friendly for cramped craft rooms.
